I'll be there. I am coordinating the DX forum and the panel of notable DXpeditioners (N1DG, K3LP, K9CT and WB9Z) as they will be answering questions from the audience.   Most of the Intrepid DX Group will be there as well.

Well, I've got one big five-word question but I suspect you'll answer that one in due course, to the delight of many Cheesy

I'm just starting to make my reservations now. I will most certainly be at the DX banquet at the Marriott and the Contesters dinner at the Crowne Plaza. Look forward to chatting once again.

I plan on being there also, but unfortunately I wasn't able to get reservations at the Marriott so had to settle for the Hampton Inn. And I called on the day they were accepting reservations, but just later in the day. Oh well, I'll just get a rental car Smiley

Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting you at the convention!

John-K7KB, most of us are also at the Hampton Inn. There will be a free shuttle service running between all of the event hotels,

See you in Visalia!

The big problem I had was not so much as finding a hotel but finding a airline that serves that area. The closest location with decent airline service is Fresno. They do have one commuter airline going to Visalia, and that's Great Lakes Airlines but only a couple of flights out of LA or Las Vegas. This is my first time attending this convention, and I'm sure Visalia is nice, but you would think they would pick a location that at least had a few airline choices. San Jose would have been just fine with me Smiley

See you there Rich..

John,  fly to LAX or SFO and drive.

The reason it's in Visalia is tradition,  it's midway between SFO - LAX, or better said: The Northern California DX Club and the Southern California DX Club, who have been putting this event on for 64 years.

Oakland or even Sacramento are also good choices to fly into.

Gene - look forward to meeting in person. I will be staying at the Hampton Inn.

Lots of great stuff to talk about - including Heard Island - and Bob, KK6EK will also be there.
