Hi all,

Has anyone received an answer for a ZL9HR logcheck ?

I'm missing a 40m SSB QSO and can't get any answer from QSL manager EB7DX ( 3 emails ) nor from expedition team leaders... I'm apparently not the only one if i trust comments seen on the DXclusters... :-(

Strange for such a nice expedition and quick LoTW upload !

Hi Patrick,

I'm sorry to hear that you've hit a dead end.  You could try to send an e-mail to Gene Spinelli K5GS.  Gene has the logs on his laptop.  Although I don't know if he's authorized to update the log.  It's worth a try.  Gene did personally work many of the 40m SSB contacts.  GL.

Now I need a small favor in return Grin  I have a 40m QSO with PT0S that's on their log but not confirmed in LoTW.  I have sent multiple e-mails to the team with no response.  If you or anyone could help me on this I'd appreciate it.

If Gene Spinelli can help, he will. He's a nice guy.

I don't ubderstand why the QSL manager is ignoring emails.  We all know eight of the team menbers had a dispute with the two members from Australia but the QSl manger's job is to see that those who made contact get a QSL.  He should be neutral in the dispute and should just hand out QSLs.

It would be really unfortunate if the QSl manager is taking sides in this dispute. I hope it is not so.

I made an inquiry to the QSL manager in mid December about a QSO and received a response within a week or so. They're probably just swamped with getting the cards out and will respond in due course.

Thanks. I've sent an email to K5GS and KE4KY.We will see what happens.

I understand that EB7DX can be busy, but 6 weeks for an answer .....

Patrick:

I forwarded the information to EB7DX.  You should receive a copy of the email that I forwarded to him this morning.

I hope this helps.
