He is good in QRZ but the prefix does not show in my logger nor does Kosovo show on the prefix map.  Is he just too new to show or am I missing something?

The DX Marathon is not an ARRL sponsored event.
CQ contests and awards do count Kosovo. I always assume when someone says "ATNO" they are talking about DXCC.

Working Kosovo now is only good for "practice" as far as DXCC is concerned, but with the pressure that's on the ARRL to make this the 341st entity - who knows, maybe if and when it does become a new entity - the acceptance date will be retroactive to a "date of historical significance".

Meaning - maybe what you work today would count in the future.

Anyway - working a Z6 is good practice if you are bored and waiting for a real new ATNO to be activated. 2013 so far has no announcements of anything that I need.

For practice, yesterday, and ONLY for practice, I worked Senegal and Ascension Island. Both worked first calls. Both has sizeable piles, tho I wonder why............

Yeah, I can't believe all the fuss over ZK3. There were 2 guys there a couple years ago for about 4 weeks. But I guess if you didn't have it....It took me a while to work that one. And lately at times that has been the best DX on the bands.
