I'm getting the parts together to build a Cobwebb antenna (
http://www.g3tpw.co.uk/) in the spring. The question I have is, has anyone tried adding a 6 Meter element to one? I would guess a 6 Meter element would be rather short but might work. Anyone have thoughts on this?

I have worked Cobbweb owners on the air who say they have done this. But Steve Hunt G3TXQ would surely know the answer to this. Good Luck on your antenna. The CobbWebb's do a great job, for what they are.
A Ham here in Florida has one on a 55 ft tower, and works all over the world with it, literally at will. He is an older Ham, and did not want the trouble of a rotating beam antenna, so he replaced his Cush Craft A3 with the Cobbweb.
No, it is not quite as good as the Cush Craft A 3 was, but he is still "in there" chasing the DX.
