Such a simple item, now unobtanium??
For my Cub Scout pack to experiment with simple DC circuit, I need one of those little bulb bases.
They usually had two small screws, or even better, spring loaded fahenstock clips. They were usually made of ceramic, Porcelain, or black plastic. They are used with the small screw in #47 size bulbs.
Can anyone suggest a source? I can't find 'em!!

CHECK your LOCAL HARDWARE STORES !!
Some hardware franchise owners do not stock full complement of parts
(leave out knobs, metric hardware, stainless, etc.).
Many ACE HARDWARE stores in Midwest have these drawers.
Home Depot and Lowes (Big Box) are not reliable sources for these parts (they repackage and carry high volume items).
