Hi all,

I'm looking to make a really quick and dirty circuit using a 16f628 PIC and an LCD display. All I want to do is to have two buttons, one for count and one for reset. Each time "count" is pressed, the number on the LCD increments. Reset obviously puts it back to zero.

I've googled around and cant find any designs, can someone help? I know this will be easy, but it will start me off on a project in the right direction.

Cheers, 73

Not exactly but close: http://danjuliodesigns.com/hw_tools/hw_tools.html (scroll down)
Good debouncing of the pushbutton is mandatory.

To get you thinking on ways to code this, grab your calculator.

Enter 1  +  1

Press the = key to increment upwards by 1 each time.
