I'm waiting to get this timewave anc4
i have a 40m delta loop and was thinking of making a 40m dipole to use as a receiving antenna for the anc4,
I'm thinking of mounting the feed point of the dipole about 10ft or so from the loop apex then sort of trying to surround the loop with the dipole legs,
Well will this work??
does anybody have any better ideas or comments on my plan?
thanks in advance for your thoughts!!

You are better off having the receive antenna further away from the transmitting antenna. I have an ANC-4 (Rarely use it as I do not suffer from line noise very often) At one time I had a simple 16 feet vertical made from some aluminum tubing I had here. Had it mounted on a chain link fence which I used as the ground side of the antenna. Worked for me.

Thanks for the info! I will try that first, someone told me if you have the antenna to close to the RX antenna than you can overload the ANC4?
