Could use some help......Please advise what color leads from the mic
go to each corresponding pin on the (4) pin connector. I will then solder.

The Shure has a Red, White, Black, Green, & a ground wire.
Drake TR7 is a (4) pin mic connector - Pin 1 is low level audio,
Pin 2 is TX PTT, Pin 3 is ground, & Pin 4 is High level audio.

Drake requires a high impedance mic, I will set the Shure
selection switch so it is in the Hi Z mode.

Thank you in advance for any assistance,
Kevin

DOWNLOAD the Shure 450 Series II - User Guide

Connect the dots and solder on the connector.

Amateur Radio transceivers use UNBALANCED Audio inputs.

Hello everyone,

I still need help, please....I wired the Shure 450 series II mic's Green wire to Pin #1 of the Drake TR7A.
White wire to Pin #2
Ground wire to Pin #3
Pin #4 is empty

Unused mic wires are the Black & Red.

The PTT switch does not activate Transceiver, nothing.

Did I fumble on the wiring?
