I am buying a 30 to 2000 pF 7.5 kV working Jennings vacuum variable capacitor. It has a built in 27 volt motor powered gear drive with limit switches, wired to a small PCB and a D -Sub connector. Does anyone have a link to a schematic for these things? Or have experience of wiring them up for using them in a remote tune ATU? Thanks.

Those eBay ones are the one from the tuning unit for the Collins 618T, 1000pF 3kV. IF the one the OP is buying looks like that, then we had links to more details a few weeks ago in, I think, Boatanchors - or it may have been here.
