Hello All.

I have just purchased the Yaesu G1000DXA rotator.  My mast is a tilt-over.  Should I make a base plate for the rotator to sit on and bolt it on, with a ball bearing steadier (for the want of a better word) up about 12"-18", or can I bolt the rotator onto the top of the mast.

All help will be gratefully appreciated.

Regards to all,
Jim.
