Hi KOOD im at work at the moment using my iphone all you do is go to Universal Radio Web click online catalog after that click Receivers Shortwave Tabletop and you will see it..

Commradio had been good about supplying bug fixes (I wouldn't characterize them as enhancements). But I haven't seen any new ones mentioned lately. Measured by posts on SWL boards, interest in the CR-1 has faded, along with its claims regarding longwave performance.

Commradio said it was targeting the ham market too. I've yet to see any test of the CR-1 in a major contest on a really good antenna and in an urban high-RF area.

Seems as if no matter how hard some folks attempt to wish this radio away, it just keeps hanging in there.

You gonna pay $500 for one? The CR-1 offers cuteness, and little more. From what's been posted and the YT videos, can you name anything it does well? I can't.

The little fellow is indeed cute, but he has abundant teething problems. One of the big problems of designing anything for a broad consumer market, or even a relatively specialized market.

For a cute SW radio which is quite well-evolved and functional, I think the Tentec 1254 may fill the bill very well. It's a kit, so it appeals to people with a certain level of technical interest and ability. Very thoughtful mods are/will be available: http://www.cholakian.com/TT1254upgrade.html. And it's relatively inexpensive. Teeth are all in.
