Vlad is back in Egypt and he has a killer signal to NA on 17m at the moment.  I worked him on simplex for a new band fill.  The pile up was surprisingly small for the strong signal.  I don't have a resonant antenna for 17m and his signal is likely 3-5 S units down from others with a resonant antenna.

Is anyone here still chasing SU for an ATNO?  Vlad is awesome and he's always there when the band is open to NA.  He gave me a new one on SU back in April 2012.  GL to all who need SU.

Got him on 12m for a ATNO on Wednesday. I PayPaled him right away. Now I will try and get a few more bands.

ATNO for me.  Sent PayPal as per Vlad's instructions and he confirmed back to me within a few hours.

FB all around and I greatly appreciate him giving NA a fair shake.

I haven't received anything back from Vlad.

Vlad doesn't have a huge signal (I believe he operates low power only) but he does spend quite a bit of time trying to work stations outside of EU, which is where the demand is located.

He was my last zone for all 40 on 160m - so I will be ever thankful for his activity.

Vlad is good op. I got him March 5 for a new on 40M. Managed to slip through the pile up while in the pickup truck.

Now if I could only get 5A, HV, and SV/A...... well throw in S0 and I would be complete for the Med area.

I have heard HV and SV/A any number of times, but can never break the pile.

Big congrats to those who got a new one.

I can't think of anything to complain about Vlad. He also gave me E4 as a new one. I will make a larger donation for my bandfill QSO. GL to everyone.

I also received his QSL cards in a matter of days. I think he sends them out the same day of payment.

He mentioned that this batch of cards from Egypt will be going out in 3 weeks or so.

I got him on 40 tonight. It was tough. My knee has been killing me. I broke down and took a Vicodin for it. Then saw him spotted an hour later. We can all guess how good my CW skills are tonight.

It depends on how fast you want your card Wink.

Hi John,
I know folks who have sent him a couple of bucks and those that have sent more... cards come pretty fast either way.

I just got done sending him some money for a couple of contacts (SU9VB & E40VB) on a couple of bands.  I'll let you know how long it takes for me to get the cards.
