Anyone ever seen very low receiver sensitivity on 6 meters?  Power output is fine, even did a reset on the radio.
Anyone?

Not really.  I have an FT-817ND and its sensitivity on 6m is fine, about the same as my other more sophisticated 6m rigs.

It's not great for adjacent channel rejection, overload, etc.  But it's cute.

Did you turn the preamp on and insure the attenuator is off.

I believe the attenuator off and preamp off is the default state after reset.

Don't know if maybe it's a Yaesu issue? I owned a Yaesu 857D several years ago & it had an S-9 signal on 6 meter SSB all of the time that would not go away.I tried it here in my shack on my M2 6M5X & in my mobile on the Atas-120A & no matter what I did it would not go away.No other radio I have ever owned had this issue & I have no noise issues now at home on 2 rigs on 6 meters nor do I have the issue in my mobile with my ICOM 7000 & Tarheel II antenna. With the S-9 signal of noise I did NOT use it much on 6 meters for sure.It did not have the noise issue on 2 meters or any of the HF bands JUST ON 6 METERS WHICH IS OF COURSE MY favorite BAND.  Huh
