How many countries have access to 60m? I made a few contacts on that band but I feel limited that I can only do 100W ERP and have to use a channelized band. If it was 100W TPO I'd have been more inclined to do DXing with it. All of my 60m contacts have been US only.

My only 60m DX was E51M which was quite exciting. I was at the right place at the right time. I only went to 60m because of a dx spot. Otherwise I pretty much never use the band. Maybe I will take a listen tonight.

Just 4U1UN. That's it. No antennas for it, no interest in it either. Ten-four, channel 5!

You consider 4U1UN a DX Cheesy

If its a DX entity - its DX! They all count.

My DX time is better spent elsewhere.

4U1UN is the toughest close DX I ever attempted to work and worked....Mainly because up until only a few years ago, I never heard them on the air......The toughest that was close to my QTH......so yes, it is considered DX....even moreso than California.....Geographically that doesn't make sense.....but from a new entity standpoint, it does because of it being relativly rare....Hope to work them on 60 meters!...... Grin.....

Speaking of which, I still have to get confirmations from USA and Canada on one or maybe two WARC bands! I have all these confirmations from exotic places but missing W and VE!

Same feeling here. No antenna for it and even less interest.

Only a couple QSOs... primarily with big DXpeditions who pushed 6m activity.  I had no interest whatsoever when it was a SSB only band.

60m is largely unusable from here in KH2... it is the "go to" band for the Chinese OTH radar (IE Dragon) that used to sit on the low end of 40m.

KH2L used to be active on 60m before the radar QSY.  He tells me he worked 70 or 80 guys and ran out of people to work.  Personally, my band permissions with the military spectrum managers (a requirement living in on-base housing) does not include 60m.  It probably wouldn't have been a problem had I asked for it, but I didn't.

Several days ago, I worked JT1CO on 12 meters and thought he was my last zone for a 12m CW WAZ.  However, my logging program showed me that I have never made a QSO with my own zone (4) on 12m!  When the time comes (after obtaining a few QSL's) to apply for this one, maybe I'll arrange a sked with my neighbor and walk over to his house to pick up his QSL card for my last zone.

Well, considering they've been off the air since October 2009, they were relatively inactive when the antennas were still up and really only good on the upper bands at that, yeah, I would. Fortunately I'm local to them and have them from 6 to 160 plus 60m...the only entity I have on 11 bands! My 60m Q was Christmas Eve 2005!

4U1UN has brought back good memories.  I was so new at HF that when I worked them in 2009 I had thought I was working Switzerland because the name has United Nations in it and it has a weird prefix.  It actually took me a while to figure out that I worked NY.

I've done a few, but just a handful, mostly in the Carribbean

Bahamas
St Lucia
St Kitts
KP2
Cayman Islands
Serbia
Isle of Man
Denmark
Costa Rica
Suriname

Haven't messed with 60m in quite a while.

If it were a "real" band - that counted for DXCC then I would bother with it. The channelized thing "smells like" CB too much for me . . . good buddy . .
