There is a long list of specific forums on this board, but one is sorely missing. Why isn't there a "Regulations" forum or "FCC Forum" for discussing regulatory matters and FCC actions? The only place I see for posting on those topics is the "Misc" forum, yet this is probably one of the most important issues to be discussed regarding amateur radio, something that affects all of us.

We have the "Licensing" forum, but not all regulatory matters are directly related to licensing.

I would venture to guess that it's for the same reason you should go to see a lawyer if you have a legal problem, not ask your best friend or next door neighbor.  Regulatory questions should be answered by the regulating agency, not by someone else.  If you get a wrong interpretation/answer, you may be in for some hefty fines, not to mention the site itself coming under scrutiny for providing (even indirectly) that answer.

The only other use is to rant about the regs, and you don't need such a magnet to attract that kind of discussion.  Heck, even the ARRL shies away from such foolishness.
