"Warning: fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/websi202/public_html/website-up-or-down-checker/submit.php on line 12

Is down?

Yes it's not just you! is down "

However when I go to https://www.mods.dk/   it is running fine...

It didn't retain the url I entered. If you click 'add another website's it works.

Chrome took under a second here on Win7 Pro 64 Bit. Instant response; almost as fast with IE 11.

I also regularly clean out the browser and other crud, keep everything up to date and dont let AV and other programs mess with my browsing as did Firefox on an old XP machine. Since your IE8 is for XP and many sites no longer accept that I suspect your other browsers need some work.

Yep. I just did the same, and it's all there, working fine.

might be the certificate, might be your ISP thinks somebody on their ISP runs spam.  tracert the site and try using the IP address directly.  might also be an IP6 issue, make sure if your system has IPv6 blocked, unblock it.

The owner of the site had all the mods given to him over the years. Then restricted the access. I use the site as a last resort.

Still loads fine from here.
With my old XP operating system and old Chrome (that tells me to upgrade my OS all the time).

Restricting access to one download per day or so is fine, if you don't contribute.  Seems fair to me as it costs bucks to run websites and I don't see ads in the margins like this site or QRZ.
