There a person who claims to be David Haffner and has some items for sale at good prices.  I've been in the market for a TS-811A and sure enough, he has one.  It's in perfect condition, has the tone board included and will ship to me for $290 if I send him a money order.  The most recent communication with this guy he tells me that he is out of town and wants me to send the money order to his good friend, Philip Haffner at an address in Ohio.  I told this person that I was planning on being in Ohio next week and wondered if I could pick it up.  I'm waiting to see what the response is.  I wonder if Philip is going to be out of town too.

$290 for that radio in "perfect" condition is
wayyyy too good to be true.
