Thanks for all the interesting reviews, gentlemen.  I'll have to keep an eye out for it at the local D.V.D rental shop.  No chance of getting it free on "normal" television as there's no TV reception here, and no chance of ever getting any, unless a generous benefactor comes along and pays for (expensive) satellite TV.

i think "Numbers Station" is part of the Amazon prime package.  I watched it again the other night, it's an OK movie...but it's not the best spy movie ever.

Yes, you can hear numbers stations on HF almost every day.

YES.  I have recently heard and logged several.  One popped up on RHC frequency in the 6 MHz band soon after they signed off for the day.  Startled me!
