Reminds me of a coworker in Aspen. He lives in Woody Creek, next door to Hunter S. Thompson's Owl ranch. I, being kind of a fan, got all excited when I found this out and started asking a bunch of questions about Thompson. All he had to say was he was glad the (expletive deleted) was dead. Surprised, I asked why. The answer: "because he keep us up all night shooting guns and blowing (stuff) up!"

I recall John Denver and Hunter S. Thompson were feuding about the same thing.  I'm a fan of both, so I didn't take sides.   Wink

I wonder, how can they keep it up constantly, with ammo being so scarce and very expensive?  Unless it is shotguns.  The stores are full of shotgun ammo with no shortages of that at all, for some reason.

They've put a for sale sign up in front of their house.

That is great news ... provided they do not become neighbors of mine  Wink

OR MINE...

Wait, there's no houses for sale right near me. Thank god.

But man, it really sounds like you have had bad luck in neighbors of your shack.

Buy the house, then you know who your neighbor will be.  Grin

This reminds me of an incident that happened years ago.

I live in the country.

On one 4th of July my neighbor would throw a string of fire crackers out.

After 4 or 5 times, I loaded my black powder Navy 44 cal revolver to the brim and used a paper wad to hold the powder.

The next time it happened, I stepped out and fired it.

No more "bangity bang bang."

Considering the circumstances, it just might be cheap, at least until you factor in any repairs that might be needed.  Grin

I don't think DHS is buying shotgun ammo!
