Greetings from ZS land

I have an AEA PK-900 TNC that for no apparent reason has gone faulty on me. With AEA out of business, I'm up the proverbial creek without a paddle. I know there is current flowing because when I switch on it starts to blink on and off.

I wonder if any of you kind souls have perhaps experienced this problem, and if so, can suggest a way of repairing this fault. A technically minded friend has suggested that it may be the selection IC that has gone west, and this being the case, that is perhaps the end of the road for said TNC.

I would greatly value any ideas or suggestions. Please respond directly by e-mail to gpieterse@mediaservices.co.za.

Thanks and 73s de Gerry ZS6GER

Timewave Technology, Inc. should be able to help you out.  They bought the PK232/900 et al lines.  You can find them at www.timewave.com

Good Luck!
