I just got my PSK31 set up, using my Patcomm PC-500, their dedicated cable, and Digipan.

Receive works ok, but on transmit, I can't seem to adjust output down as instructed, no matter how low I set the speaker and wave volume controls.

I'd greatly appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks!

Paul

What kind of sound board are you using?  I use a SB16 and the volume control is very sensitive. I use a Rig Blaster which has an attenuator control also so that helps.

Paul, I will take a stab at your problem... I have never run into anybody useing the SB LIVE sound card on the digi bands. I am going to guess that you will need to get a true SB 16 bit card for your PC if you want to work the sound card modes. Fortunately, SB16 or compatible cards are very cheap.
