I just bought a new Signalink USB interface and plan to use it with my TS-530S. I have the correct cable for the 4 pin mic connector. My question is how do I tune the radio for this? Normally I dip for 100 watts, then switch to RF output on the meter and fine-tune for max output. Im wondering about carrier level and mic gain. Also ALC reading so the radio doesn't splatter all over the place with a wide signal.

1) Set RF power on radio to full.
2) Set mic gain to normal SSB level.
3) Turn compression off.
4) Set output power with TX control on Signalink USB. You should have little or no ALC showing.
