Hi all,
I am having some trouble connecting to the local 145.130 repeater where I operate in Milwaukee.  When I key my HT and talk I get an automated voice message saying control is down.  I have been able to use this repeater successfully in the past.  I am operating a Yaesu VX8-DR. I have checked my radio settings, -600, 127.3 tone and it all lines up.  The difference is I recently added a speaker mic to my HT.  Any advice?

Thanks!
-Nate

Sounds to me like something with the repeater has failed, hence the message you are hearing.

Can you successfully use other repeaters?

Try a different repeater to make sure but it does sound like a repeater malfunction. Contact your local repeater administrator or some one from your local club group. GL
