I checked a few minutes ago, and there were less than 7,000 QSO's to go.  They will probably reach the 500,000,000 mark tonight!

It's amazing how many QSOs have taken place over the air. LoTW represents a small fraction.

I more look at the number of LotW users number - this morning it is at 57,609. I'd like to see that number grow faster, especially for non-US stations. Actually, also for US 6M ops - I don't make a lot of 6M QSOs, but there was on opening last week, worked 2 new grids and neither one was on LotW!

That was my input to the ARRL committee looking at LotW: focus on doubling the number of users.

Re:AD9DX "LotW represents a small fraction"

Anybody know what fraction LoTD (Logbook on the Desk) represents?

Anybody know what fraction LoTD (Logbook on the Desk) represents?

I'd guess 75% of all other QSOs are logged.

I think they'd grow a lot faster if they dropped the confusing and useless public key infrastructure.

I've noticed lately that it appears the link for the "Log Out" button doesn't work. Is it me or is anybody else noticing this?

I am up to 39.84% QSO's confirmed on LoTW. The Q's go back to 2001 and a few new ones and band counters from 1985 - 1991. The vast majority of my contacts are DX/Contest related. It seems like a decent percentage considering how far back my log goes.

I've only been active again since 2011 and am around 45% which is very good. Saved me a ton of money for pedestrian band fills. For example France, Ireland, England and Portagual on 9 bands X $3 each for postage is over $100 in savings alone.

No confusion here. You set it and forget it.

"Set it and forget it" used to be the line by the late night TV marketer Ron Popeil for one of his products.  I think you borrowed that line from Popeil.  Grin
