On the other hand there are probably a lot of peninsulas etc. that are going to become islands.

Heck,
 I hope it does not happen. The people are real nice and it would be a tragedy for them to lose their homeland.
 Jim, wb2rem has posted some videos of the 8Q7KP trip. You can see the gorgeous islands on the water taxi
 ride from the airport to the destination island. Turquoise blue waters and pristine reefs.
