Hi!

I like to replace 2.2 mikro 35V RC condenser in icom radio.

1.What does it mean RC?

On condenser is R .

2.If I put  2.2mikro 35V without R?

Thanks

Viewing where it is, on IC9A, I would think that replacing this capacitor with a modern aluminum electrolytic of proper value and voltage rating should work.

However, if you check the Voltage Rating of C225 in the Parts List, it is listed as:

2.2u @ 50V

So I would not use a 35V capacitor here, I would use one with a minimum 50V rating, okay to go higher than 50V if that's what you have.
