Last night there was an all out, no holds barred pileup on 20 meters for... England.

A few good Dx stations were on 17M last night including Al (ZL1BD) but he was having a hard time making contacts and left after 15 minutes.  Band conditions really suck right now Cry

This afternoon the A index (A=54) is almost as high as the Sunspot number (SSN=58).

Good time to practice with Pileup Runner.

Summer Doldrums? Must be the same as Winter Doldrums here.
The pileups on ANY DX at quiet times can be rather curious.
I might have to try for WAS or something.
Or chase some of the JARL JCC or Worked all Japan thingies. We can ALWAYS work Japan here.
The pileups on the FOC stations last month were "fun".
I could try a DXpedition to ... Tasmania?

I "worked" my first eHam DX forum regular on "Pileup Runner" today.  It was Paul, K3STX.  I use the call P5NK in the simulation.  Sorry, Paul, that it wasn't the real thing!

It was bad today. Worked St. Lucia on 17m for a band fill.

That's funny when that happens.  Hopefully he wasn't one of the virtual lids.
