COOKEN ARC is a small group of SSB and  CW ios who  work many contests as WW8OH,  + FD as W8FD.

We are always short  2-3 CW ops from  doing as well as we would like, so if you can do 20 wpm+, youd be a valuable asset to the group.

FD,  OH and PA  QSO parties, ARRL 160M , CQWW 160M, 10M Contest,  ARRL June and CQ July VHF Contests, are sone of our  most successful efforts.

Plus we do the SSB tests as well.

If interested: Contact me,  w3hkk@arrl.net

Sites are  in Licking and Fairfield Counties.

Rigs are often an IC7600 or  a yaesu + small amp (500w), but a bigger amp is on the way. Ants  are a 600 ft  loop at 60 ft that   works great on 160-80-40m. plus a hexbeam  and vhf yagis at 50-60 ft.  A 3 el  tribander will be added soon for 20-10.

Multi-op, single and multi-transmit stations are our style.
