I have been playing a lot with Win 8 full version on a tablet and RT version too. I must admit that I was pretty much down on RT before I put some time on with it. It is pretty solid and snappy too on right hardware. While it does not support legacy apps it is a nice tablet OS and far more flexible than IPad. Very easy to switch between apps without having to use a button. I like way settings in apps are accessed same way in all apps installed. Also since it is not x86 it does make you immune to regular Win viruses and such. It is a lot more memory efficient that regular Win8 on a tablet. 2 gig is more than enough for RT but is marginal for WIN 8. For what it is worth...
