Hi,

Need some help on the settings for my Icom 7000 when using PSK31. I have the rig connected with one of these http://www.radioarena.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=2737 which seems to be working ok as it's putting the rig into tx mode and I'm receiving fine on Digipan. The cable is connected via the ACC (13pin) socket.

When adjusting the ALC level is it supposed to be showing nothing as the lowest mine will go down to is three green bars on the ALC meter on the 7000 ?

What should the mic gain be set too ? reading around online I've found that this is either switched off or you set the rig to full power and use the mic gain to adjust the power output ?

Thanks.

I'm not familiar with the particular device you are using, but need to set the rig to full power and adjust the input/output levels on the sound card that you are connecting the device to, not the mic gain.
