"KK4RCR was cancelled, KV4PL was issued."

I thought Extras were now being issued 2x2's with AA to AL prefixs, e.g. Ax4xx, or is that just for districts that have issued past KZ#ZZ already?
Regardless, KV4PL is much less a mouthful than KK4RCR!

The fourth district has used up all of the available A 2x2 calls, so Extras are now getting K 2x2 calls.

(One note: AL prefixes are restricted to Alaska due to the L. So they are not available for issue to lower-48 licensees.)

The same thing happened when the N 1x3s ran out. Techs are eligible for 1x3 calls, but once all the N 1x3s ran out FCC started "issuing down" a Group, so they are all getting K 2x3s now.
