I've been using DIGIPAN 2.0 lately.  My pc (W7) has only USB ports & use the SignaLink USB.

Isn't it about time that the software had an update (what with ALL the new featues in technology) Huh?

Digipan is FREEWARE so you get what you pay for. There are lots of other digi mode programs out there that are also free that will work well with the Signalink USB and also include many of the other digital modes.

The free version if HRD (Ham Radio Deluxe) is still available and I can personally attest to how well it does the digi modes... as well as rig control and logging.

Just scroll down to where it says To Download the free version, 5.24 Build 36, Click Here

But Digipan 2.0 _works_ under Windows 7, with a SignaLink USB interface!

. . . What "updates" does it need?

PS -- this is written half tongue-in-cheek.  I know it's old.  It's also one of the simplest programs for people "getting their feet wet" in digital modes.   And it's completely unsupported, and just keeps on chugging.

This is non issue. In Digipan, select NONE for the comport PTT and let the Signalink USB do it's thing.
