I know there are Yahoo internet user groups for this line of Heathkit QRP rigs, but I am not aware of any on-the-air "net" activity. It would be helpful to give and get true signal reports from other HW-7/8/9 users. No long discussions (not at <5 watts). Just signal reports would do.

These HWs are rather rare this side of the pond, but I would like to listen for USA users if possible. I would send an SWL e-mail if I did hear you (and you didn't hear me). Would be QRV on 20 meters only

Old tech, the QRP HWs, and while my FT-817ND specs are better, operating my HW-8 and 9 is much more fun.

i don't have an HW7/8/9 (always wanted one...maybe someday!), but if there are Yahoo groups, etc. devoted to them, that would probably be the best place to find out about nets - or suggest starting one!

Have fun!
