My first venture into the Stew Perry contest on 160m - exchanging grid squares like in a VHF contest - totally appropriate for my minimal 160m antenna - a Valor PHF160B whip ! 21 contacts in a few hours of operating - from XE2S in DL49 to N7IA in DM62 and N9ADG in CN97 - nice coverage from DM03 !

This a nice contest with enough stations operating but without congestion.

I operated from bay-front FL (EL79) with inv L made of 40ft fiberglass pole. Made some 80 QSO including CA and OR in direction of deep water but struggle in directions of shallow water or land.
