Does anyone have information about how to obtain an HF reciprocal license in KSA?  I have been offered employment there which I'm tempted to accept ($$$!), but I want to take my ham gear with me on my first entry into the country, and not have to fly back to Thailand at a later date to get my equipment.

Is there a contact email address for the Saudi Ministry of Comms/PTT?

Advice is appreciated

I don't actually know anything about this, but I'm going to guess it's well nigh impossible.  My only direct knowledge is from the late 60s, early 70s, when it was impossible. Last time I checked on operating in Egypt a couple of years ago (just before Arab Spring), and it was a huge pain. Egypt is positively liberal compared to Saudi Arabia.

Have you called ARRL?  They have all kinds of info on this kind of thing, and have been quite helpful when I've asked or emailed.

The destination part is admittedly obvious. But Simon's eHam login is HS0ZIB, so my guess is that he's looking for reciprocal privileges in KSA for a native licensee from Thailand.

There are probably about 200 or so independent licensing authorities, so there are about 200*200 possible situations. Only a few of the relationships are covered by collective agreements (CEPT, IARP); everything else is based on either individual one-on-one country agreements or treaties, or standing rules (in the destination country) for visitors. Neither Thailand nor KSA is a party to CEPT or IARP. I can't tell if there is any sort of one-on-one reciprocal arrangement between them.

The question asked "Reciprocal with what country?"  Simon's original post clearly identifies him as a Thai licensee (the callsign) and seeking information about reciprocity with KSA, later specified as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
