All,

I use a couple of J-38s at my stations and just got a Czech key to try out.  One of the J-38s (the one that I used as a novice and a gift from my older brother) will be going mobile/portable with me.  I may look into the Palm paddles for my FT-817ND when mobile/portable, however.

Take a look at the Palm Paddle snap-on non-slide base I made from an electrical outlet steel cover.  It is in the Miscellaneous" category in the "Articles" section of my website at www.ad5x.com.  Works great.

Phil,
Nice page!  It is now bookmarked.
