I love all flexes that do and don't work. I bet deep down Stan does too but is unable to share his feeling with you due to being disconnected from his fire wire.

Well Greg, you would be wrong. After experiencing Flexradios and their culture I will never own another one. I love SDR's, I just do not love Flexradios.

Because people will pay that much for it. It's an auction. It's a good radio. Combined, that makes for high price. I bought one from eHam classifieds last year for $450.

Notice how the OP referenced "SDR" by noting exclusively Flex radios. It's a Freudian admission that in his mind, Flex is the de facto example od SDR, bar none.

I figured it was a fool and his money are soon parted. Paying original list for obsolete technology is a bit silly. With fully loaded
Flex 5Ks going for a song on the Forums, eBay prices for the lessor minions are ridiculous. Pay SR-400A prices for a S-38? Not
in my world.  LOL!
