Grant Watson (K8VFZ) recently became a SK.  I think he became a ham around the 50s / 60s.  The FCC search just says 2007 (ie when he renewed). Does anyone have an old call sign book which might mention it? Someone recommended Buckmaster might have it, but I'm hoping to not have to pay to find out.  Cheesy

I can give you an idea of when he was licensed.
He wasn't listed in the Spring 1959 callbook, 8th area under his last name (or call). My next callbook is Fall 1961, where he is listed as K8VFZ. So, he was licensed sometime between 1959 and 1961.
