And using QSK makes a conversation flow more naturally? Huh?
QSK reminds me of going to a party and talking with someone who constantly interrupts while you're trying to speak.

There's a good observation here.

Some people evidently find QSK distracting--some don't. I don't happen to have any problem keeping my mind on what I'm sending while I'm sending it, despite what I may hear between characters or words.

I think I usually make some adjustment of my receiver audio level when sending and my sidetone level is also adjustable so this may be the way I limit the amount of distraction.

At a party, if one is blessed with a hearing aid, one can turn it down, or off!
