I hope to catch this one as it is the last one for Honor Roll for me.

They were a good signal on 15m ssb this morning. He was working EU and then called for NA 5 KHz up. He worked a few stations with a massive pileup and then suddenly he opened up the split from 5 to 10 up. I quickly moved up another 3 and worked him.

Move fast because the herd doesn't.

They were actually loud enough on CW on 40M a few min. ago.  I tossed in my call twice, and guess what?  NAW....... I did not get em....... I tossed in my call and a JAMMER started laying on his key.  He was still at it, as they faded....   Oh well...........  Maybe Monday or whenever.........

BTW, I had a LONG talk with an old ham today. Active 30+ years and still QRV every now and then.  He agrees with me that over half of the Jammers and tuner uppers are positively old farts, net nutters, etc. who just DONT LIKE DXERS OR CONTESTERS and will do their best to aggrevate the hell out of them.

I don't think that any of that crowd is "tuning" anything either.  It's just psychos and sociopaths.

My Myanmar greyline is about now but don't see them spotted anywhere on 20, 17 or 15.  Just tuning around and listening 14055.

We've been calling CQ alternatively at 14.165 and currently at 21.290

It's 7AM here and we have yet to hear any NA this morning.

Our sunset seems much better for NA.

Just snagged them on 15m. Quite loud here - far stronger than I had anticipated.

YouTube anyone:

Great signal 15 CW on my vertical here in CO 0030 but big pileup and JA wall.  Quite encouraging...

It should be so much better on Monday when this contest folly is over.

Glad you guys are getting us on 15 CW, the Sweepstakes contest seems to be impacting our ability to reach you on SSB. We will keep trying!

Hi Paul,

I just worked XZ1J on 15m SSB on simplex.  Really great signal to the Rockies tonight.  Thanks.

Paul (et al), please give long path to NA a shot around 1130-1430z on 10 and 12m. With the solar numbers this high you should have good luck, providing the Ap drops a bit. It was certainly rough with QRN on my end this morning. Ham Cap is showing a big long path opening on 10m from east-coast dawn at 1130z for hours.

Hi Jonathan-W6GX, I was sitting here when Franz worked you to start today's 15 SSB opening. I soon took over. Propagation moved really fast across the USA. First it was you, then W1's moving westerly over about 45 minutes.   We will try LP tomorrow. Sweepstakes is making it extra hard to work NA.

I'll dabble tomorrow on the higher bands but I'll be out in force on (our) Monday morning, that's for sure.

Thanks again for getting on 15m to work NA.  10m LP tomorrow will be fantastic.  The signal should again march across the U.S. starting with the East Coast.  Hopefully you will still be around at 1400z to work the Rockies.  Some of the smaller stations will appreciate selective propagation.  After 10m you could switch over to 20m for the predicable SP opening to the West Coast.  Take care.
