Icom IC-730 HF Transceiver
http://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/hamhf/730.html

CHECK your RADIO'S Operating Manual, for proper DIY wiring.
http://highfields-arc.co.uk/construc...her/opc118.htm

Icom used the 24-pin Molex connector (.062" pins) in their radios (ACC Port) from 1976 to mid 1980s.

Molex Data Sheet - .062" connector, 24-pin.

All Icom HF and HF/VHF transceivers (except for the IC-701) provide an analogue band-selection voltage in the range 0 ~ +8V. This voltage serves to band-switch external Icom accessories such as the Icom IC-2KL and IC-4KL HF solid-state amplifiers, the Icom IC-AT100, IC-AT150 and IC-AT500 auto-tuners and Icom EX-627 antenna selector.

This Voltage / Band Selection technologies are UNIQUE for Icom, Kenwood, and Yaesu -- NOT PLUG-n-PLAY.
Icom (Voltage Level), Yaesu (BCD and Voltage Level), and Kenwood (Serial or BCD via Logging Program).

Elecraft provides a potential interconnection solution, for band data.

Robert Langston, W2ENY builds custom cables for this Icom ACC connector,
no longer sold by Icom.  One of his more popular cables, OPC-118 , converts this 24-pin Molex connector
To the later DIN 7-pin and 8-pin female connector, used on Icom radios.

These cables are sold on eBay: seller - w2eny.
Contact him directly, with your requirements.

The correct male 24 pin Molex connector Nylon Body and Pin Contacts are available from
Mouser Electronics as P/N 538-03-06-2242 and 538-02-06-2103, respectively.
They are also available from DigiKey as P/N WM1229-ND and 02-06-2101-ND, respectively.

If you just want it to work but not auto bandswitch all it takes is a PTT line to the tuner. Look at the owners manual for hookup to other radios. If you want it to bandswitch automatically I'm sure it can be done but would require a lot more work.
