Why do people still post adds for amateur gear without a picture?  It's simple to do, and every cell phone and smart phone have cameras.  And while I'm ranting a bit, what's with adds all in upper case?  That's a bit like digital shouting and actually make the add harder to read.  I peruse the adds most days and just makes me wonder why anyone would part with hard earned cash just on the text of the add, no pic, not to mention adds that aren't spell checked.  Rant over.  cheers.

The word "ad", as in "advertisement", only has one "d". Rant over.  Cheers. Grin

Well, he did ask for an "add," now, didn't he?   Grin

Pictures???

What about sellers who post something like "Jonez AH-2500?
You either have to Google the gear or look it up on RigPix?

And what about sellers who can't describe an item without transcribing the manufacturer's spec sheet?  Oh yeah, and then don't tell you anything about their gear, like age, conditions, etc?

My biggest pet peeve regarding the classified ads is operators who want to buy something and neither put WTB in the subject, or put it in the WTB section. Those who don't post a picture don't bother me too much, but I think longer and harder about whether or not I want to take a chance on their item.
