Anyone have a suggestion on this?
Got this handheld about a month ago. Old, but unused in box (new)
Used it once at Cub Scout event.
Tried yesterday, and no receive!
It transmits fine...but no receive.
When opening the squelch, it hears a barely detectable lessening of the squelch noise when another
radio transmits, but essentially nothing.
This seems very bizarre....Seems more like it lost its' marbles...but I cannot find any way to
do a master reset.
If I somehow threw it into tone receive, I don't think I would get the white noise when opening the
squelch.
Anyone have any ideas at all???
Do you think Icom would still fix it?

Have you tried using a speaker-mic on the unit? Perhaps there is a problem with the speaker's
jack on the rig ... try at least an external speaker or speaker mic - and see if you have any
receive audio.
