Hello
Yes the DX chasers are sending too fast the most of them.
Most DX chasers cannot operate a key at those speeds.
But the computer can copy any speed the other pc is sending and enter the calls on the memory.
That is not a Ham operating manually. But they collect papers and show how they are a ''Proficient'' CW operator to non ham people or to a CBer!.

I know a DX champion(On a PC)  that cannot send faster than 20 wpm manually and still copy with a pencil!.

That is the reason I do not participate in any contests.
Good QrQ oprs operating manually are very few.

I am a fast CW member of a Club since 2 years and I never made a QSO with an OM sending manually, they all are on PC to send or to copy.
Too bad.
To be able to send faster than 50 wpm and copy by head takes lot of practice and patience.
And most important; ''A comprehensive XYL''  HI HI 73 Gil
