I have used both. I like the Icom mike, always got good reports. Be carefull to not drive it too hard. I really like my Heil Icm. The audio reports are always good, has plenty of punch. What makes this one my go-to mike, is I'm using the Heil boom and footswitch. Makes operation a breeze. Considering the price of the Icom, you'll spend less for the Icm, boom and footswitch.
