Long story short is I am a dit counter. Never will be a high speed op. Always had trouble zero beating a sig. I needed a visual display of frequency.

DL4YHF; Wolfgang Buescher has software that provides what is needed makes a computer an audio analyzer.

 www.qsl.net/dl4yhf/spectra1.html

I may have been the last ham to figure this out but it needs to be past on if others need the info. I had never seen any mention of this software.
Zero beating is now a breeze. Studying signals and being able to set filters for a band is super easy. Comparing antennas, and studying signals is very interesting. In the last week my knowledge of HF propagation has increased significantly.

 Thanks Wolf.

A hint: Drive your computer with the external speaker jack and use ur headset for audio. This works best with my Yaesu FT-450 and Windows 7.
