Take a look at my last car, I used it on the trunk seam, but you get the idea:https://plus.google.com/photos/108388273845581073968/albums/5407021333513623297/5464944694344282978?pid=5464944694344282978&oid=108388273845581073968
And my Jeep, custom bracket, but the concept is the same:https://plus.google.com/photos/108388273845581073968/albums/5693931148402558865/5702496135683934274?pid=5702496135683934274&oid=108388273845581073968https://plus.google.com/photos/108388273845581073968/albums/5693931148402558865/5702496183068401042?pid=5702496183068401042&oid=108388273845581073968
It works well, fits in the garage.
I had to replace my old truck and I got a 2005 Ford Escape with a sunroof. I would like to install a Larson 270 dual band and a Little Tarheel II antenna. I have no problems with drilling holes, but the sunroof and luggage rack is a concern. I have been doing some research and somebody recommended a hood seam mount. Is that the "L" shaped mount that screws into the groove of the trunk (or hood) and has an open hole for the antenna mount? What exactly is that? Any suggestions or idea's?
Sorry, I made a mistake on the other thread.
