I downloaded Logmein about a month ago - back then they had a free version that did everything but sound. It sure is slick. However, I started getting 'upgrade' notices, and today I got a notice that they no longer offer a free version.

Oh well, if it seems to good to be true, ... Sad

Try Team Viewer - it's free for personal use, and, IMHO, much better.

I'm still using it just fine.  It initially told me my "free trial" was over but it keeps on working.  I think what it does is install the Pro version on a trial basis.  Once that expires, you just get regular LogMeIn.  Don't now why you say it won't do sound though...I regularly listen to my FT-950 with an IF-2000, LP-Pan 2 and Power-SDR remotely from work using LogMeIn.

I found that LogMeIn would not allow me to leave the sound at the remote computer, making digital modes impossible.
