If I want to be able to operate psk only on a client with a remote station running hrd 6 with Signalink usb, can this be accomplished without the use of another program to convey sound if I do not need to hear sound?

The HRD team is at a convention this weekend. I highly suggest you ask the question on the HRD forum instead of Eham.

You can, but not by using the HRD Remote application.  You can do it using a remote control software such as Windows native RDP or download VNC.  There will be some latency (lag) using this setup.

Sounds like a feature request for HRD or an open challenge for fldigi coders.. I'd use it. I would ask for some xmit safety features in the event of excessive lag or dropped packets. Really good idea though.
