Title sums it up. Every time I go to get the latest (Feb 3) version I get a stern virus (Trojan) warning and the download is blocked. Even if I select download anyways. I have tried the download on two different machines, two different operating systems, and on a couple of different sites. All respond in a similar manner.

I have an older version of easypal which I have used for several months with no issues. I scanned the older version and it came up 'clean'. The older version works just fine but the newer version has some modes and features that seem to be the soup de jour.  Tongue

Contact the author. Meanwhile, stop trying to download it. It might actually be compromised.

Also I cannot download it if I tried all sorts of bells, whistles, and blockers stop it.  Roll Eyes

I just tried downloading it, no problem. Got my copy from http://www.kc1cs.com/

Scanned it with AVG, no issues according to that virus program.

So you want me to email you the EXE file?

I tried to download from that site, while I did not get the virus warning I did run into "You need system administrator privileges to copy this file" which is odd because I am logged in as an admin  Huh

Rick I will send a pm with my email address in it. Many thanks.

Well problem is solved for now.

I simply turned off real time scanning in Mcafee and it downloaded in an instant. Installed and appears to be working.

Thanks again.

I had the same issue and used the same method (temporarily deactivate McAfee) when I downloaded the program.  I contacted the US contact for easy pal, KC1CS, he indicated it was a false alert from the McAfee virus scan, the program is clean.  Once downloaded and installed, McAfee no longer alerted on Easy Pal. Glad you got it resolved.
